Poultry meat production in Kazakhstan increased by 27% at once

Production of fresh or chilled poultry meat in January–October 2023 reached 118.3 thousand tons - an increase of 26.8% compared to the same period in 2022. Of these, 54.2 thousand tons - 37.4% more compared to January-October 2022 - were carcasses of chickens (including chickens), turkeys, ducks, geese and guinea fowl, Kazinform agency reports with reference to EnergyProm . At the end of October 2023, prices for poultry meat increased by only 0.3% per month and only 1.4% per year. At the same time, a year earlier, poultry meat rose in price by 28.6% over the year. Prices for poultry meat increased over the year in 12 out of 20 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The largest increase in prices was noted in Astana: by 13.6%. Next come West Kazakhstan and Ulytau regions: by 9.7% and 9%, respectively. In the remaining 8 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, prices for poultry meat have decreased.
