A poultry mission led by ten European experts in collaboration with local stakeholders in Tanzania aimed at enhancing sustainable poultry production. The mission, which included a masterclass in Dar es Salaam, focused on crucial aspects of poultry farming such as breeding, feed management, health, and value addition. The masterclass also highlighted the need for sustainable and cost-effective feeding strategies, exploring alternative protein sources. The event served to strengthen bilateral relations between Tanzania and the Netherlands, and marked a significant step towards a more sustainable and profitable poultry industry in Tanzania.
