A meeting between the government and the interprofessional federation of the chain has led to the presentation of the outcomes of the program contract from 2011-2020 and the unveiling of a new development plan for the chain until 2030. This new strategy, known as the green generation, aims to double argan oil production to 10,000 tons, increase bottling rates, expand argan cultivation, and rehabilitate argan tree forests. The plan also emphasizes the importance of women's cooperatives and the need for a value-sharing model in the chain. The meeting also discussed the measures to achieve the objectives set in the plan, which have been endorsed by all members of the Interprofessional Body and will be included in a future Program Contract.
