The Financial Monitoring Agency in Kazakhstan successfully reduced product prices in five regions by eliminating unproductive intermediaries and revising purchasing prices. In Kostanay, the price of buckwheat decreased by 25%, in North Kazakhstan by 40%, and in East Kazakhstan, the cost of buckwheat and sugar in educational institutions decreased by an average of 30%. In Akmola and Kyzylorda, two wholesale suppliers were held accountable for exceeding trade margins, leading to an overall reduction in prices by almost 15%.
