The article provides an overview of the current mushroom market in Ukraine, as reported by UMDIS and detailed on agronews.ua. Prices vary across different regions for white and brown mushrooms, with farm prices ranging from 35 UAH to 43 UAH per kilogram and wholesale prices ranging from 39 UAH to 45 UAH per kilogram. Supermarket prices are higher, reaching up to 53 UAH and 59 UAH per kilogram for white and brown mushrooms, respectively. The demand for mushrooms is described as average to good in most regions, with the exception of Odessa, where demand is weaker and prices are higher. The size of the mushroom crop and the demand situation are the key factors influencing these price fluctuations.
