Ukrainian ports are experiencing a decrease in demand prices for sunflower meal due to an oversupply, with prices currently ranging from 185-190 USD/t. Despite this, Ukraine's sunflower oil exports remain strong, with the second highest February export on record at 603,000 tons. However, demand has decreased in the European Union, leading to a decrease in product shipments. As a result, Ukrainian farmers may reduce the planting of corn and sunflower crops this season due to low prices. The price of corn in Ukrainian ports remains low, making corn trade unprofitable for average farmers, and large market players have taken a break in corn trading. Meanwhile, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine is ongoing, with 97% of the planned area harvested and 58.724 million tons of grain threshed. Spain, Romania, and China are the top importers of Ukrainian wheat, corn, and culture respectively.
