For the past seven weeks, Ukrainian ports have experienced a steady rise in sunflower meal prices, with the latest increase reported by APK-Inform on October 21, 2024. This upward trend in prices is largely due to parallels in the global oil market and strong demand from exporters. The current demand prices for sunflower meal have hit $225/t under SRT-port terms, which is $30/t more than the prices at the end of the 2023/24 season. Since the start of the 2024/25 marketing year (MR), Ukraine has successfully exported almost 432 thousand tons of sunflower meal and cake.
