Prices for table beets in Ukraine are almost twice as high as last year

Last week in Ukraine, a trend of increasing sales prices for table beets emerged. This is reported by EastFruit analysts. It is noted that, despite the rather low rates of sale of table beets, most producers decided to revise the prices to increase. Yes, just since the beginning of last week, the price of beets in Ukraine has risen by an average of 20%. As of October 4, the shipment of these products was carried out at UAH 10-14/kg ($0.24-0.34/kg), depending on the quality, volume of the batch and the region of production. Analysts note that the week before last, the price range in this market segment was at the level of UAH 8-12/kg ($0.19-0.29/kg), and the sale of these products was carried out at a stable pace.
