Ukraine is expected to have a substantial vegetable harvest in 2023, according to Taras Vysotskyi, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture. This is due to farmers being able to prepare and resume growing vegetables in regions where they have not done so for some time. The focus will be on vegetables used in borscht, such as onions and carrots. The price of Ukrainian agricultural products is anticipated to be much cheaper. Additionally, sown areas for sunflower, soy, and rape are projected to rise by 10-15%, and Switzerland will aid in the restoration of Ukrainian organic production.
