The article reports on the varied prices of feed and feed raw materials in the Egyptian market on a specific day. Prices for broiler, laying hens, cattle, duck, rabbit, sheep, pigeon, quail, turkey, camel, horse, and ostrich feed were provided by traders, ranging from 11,500 to 26,500 pounds per ton. The cost of important raw materials like corn and soybean meal has risen globally due to the stock exchange and the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict, leading to an increase in feed prices. Additionally, the U.S. dollar exchange rate liberalization and a rise in global fuel prices have contributed to the price fluctuations. Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Sayed, the head of the Poultry Wealth Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, confirmed the price variations, attributing them to the fluctuating imported corn prices and the different qualities and protein percentages of the feed.
