Fertilizer prices in Brazil have recently dropped, following the global trend observed in recent days. According to an analysis by StoneX, the CFR Brazil prices for Urea, MAP, and Potassium Chloride have decreased, reflecting the weakness in demand both in the domestic and international markets. In the case of urea, weakened demand in various countries, including Brazil, meant that even the Indian tender could not sustain prices over the past week. Phosphates, represented by MAP, also registered a decline, as a significant portion intended for the 2025/26 crop has already been acquired by importers, and unfavorable exchange rates have discouraged new negotiations. Potassium Chloride followed the same trend, with prices falling due to the lack of significant demand in the Brazilian market.
