Bulgaria: Prices of fruits and vegetables on the exchanges in the country during the week

The State Commission for Commodity Exchanges and Markets has reported changes in the prices of various agricultural products. Greenhouse cucumbers have seen a decrease of 4.7% in price, now costing BGN 2.90 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the price of greenhouse tomatoes has increased by 6.5% to BGN 2.80 per kilogram, and open field tomatoes have decreased by 1.6% to BGN 1.67 per kilogram. Green peppers have seen a slight increase of 0.6% in price, now at BGN 1.82 per kilogram. The price of potatoes has risen by 2.1% to BGN 1.09 per kilogram, while carrots have decreased by 0.7% to BGN 1.16 per kilogram. Ripe onions and cabbage have also seen price increases of 1.4% and 8.2% respectively. The price of peaches has slightly increased by 0.2%, while apricots have decreased by 8.3%. Watermelons are now priced at 0.62 BGN per kilogram, and melons have increased in price by 12.1% to 1.15 BGN per kilogram.
