Prices for local feed and raw materials used in agriculture have seen fluctuations, with broiler feed prices ranging between 18,000 and 21,900 pounds. Other feed types, such as laying hens, cattle, duck, rabbit, sheep, pigeon, quail, turkey, camel, horse, ostrich, and concentrates, also vary in price. The increase in feed prices is attributed to rises in the global market for raw materials like corn, soybean meal, and sunflower meal, as well as the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict and higher global fuel prices, leading some North and South American producers to convert corn into fuel. The fluctuation in imported corn prices also plays a role, with the final feed price for various types of fodder experiencing variations.
