Jangseong County (Mayor Kim Sung) announced that Prime Minister Kim Min-seok visited Haechangi-ri, Anyang-myeon, Jangseong County on the 7th to inspect the damage caused by the "rice and sesame leaf blight." This site visit was carried out to assess the damage situation of the rapidly spreading rice and sesame leaf blight and to prepare government support measures. On the day, Prime Minister Kim Min-seok, Jeonnam Governor Kim Yeong-rok, National Assembly member Moon Geum-ju, Jangseong County Mayor Kim Sung, and Jangseong County Council Chairman Kim Jae-seung were all in attendance. After touring the damaged farmland for about an hour, Prime Minister Kim took time to directly hear the difficulties of the affected farmers. Jangseong County officials then provided a report on the damage scale and direction.
