Fishermen in Primorsky Krai, Russia, have caught over 880 thousand tons of aquatic bioresources this year, which is about 25% of the total catch in the Far Eastern basin and almost 19% of the total in Russia. The main catch was pollock, with other fishery objects such as sardine Iwashi, Pacific herring, and crabs making up 27% of the total catch. Additionally, during the salmon fishing season, 1.9 thousand tons of fish were caught.
