Peru: Producer families in Huancavelica and Apurímac receive support from the Sierra Centro Sur Special Project

Thanks to the support of the Sierra Centro Sur Special Project, more than 3,000 producer families in the regions of Huancavelica and Apurímac are recovering agricultural soils and achieving sustainable production of forest and fruit seedlings. To date, more than 1,400 producers in the region have benefited. One of the beneficiary producers shares his story: “For two years I have been waiting for the flowering process of my fruit seedlings. I have four types of fruit trees installed (peach, apple, pear and plum). I have been waiting for this moment since 2022, and now I feel very happy because this work is bearing fruit.
