The palm oil and citrus production chains discussed, on Tuesday (2), during the second day of meetings of the Sectoral Chambers of Agriculture at Fenagro 2025, the adoption of emergency actions to strengthen the development of the sectors in Bahia. Representatives of the activities advocated measures aimed at professional training, seedling production, and combating pests that have harmed the harvests. The Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation, Fisheries, and Aquaculture (Seagri), Pablo Barrozo, highlighted the role of the production chains in job creation and stated that the state government intends to support new strategies for the sector.
