Belgium: Producers from Madre de Dios export 25 tons of cocoa to Europe

Thanks to the commercial coordination carried out by Agromercado, an entity attached to the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), the Agrarian Cooperative of Multiple Services South East (COOPSSUR East) shipped 25 tons of select cocoa beans, fine aroma, of the VRAE 99 and VRAE 15 varieties, destined for Belgium. COOPSSUR East, made up of 120 partners, 70% men and 30% women, joined with the Agrarian Cooperative of the Interoceanic Limited (COOPAIDI), also from that region, to meet the order of 25 tons of cocoa agreed with the Belgian company, dedicated to the processing and commercialization of cocoa paste and butter. The company Amazonas Trading Peru S.A.C. provided the drying, humidity standardization and shipment service for the cocoa.
