Producers from Madre de Dios will directly export 30 MT of organic chestnuts to France

As part of Peru's actions to introduce new products to international markets, the Association of Organic Peruvian Amazon Nut Collectors (Ronap) of Madre de Dios exported, for the first time to France, 5 tons of organic chestnuts, thanks to the commercial coordination of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), through Sierra y Selva Exportadora, benefiting 50 producers dedicated to the collection of this fruit. The shipping process has been carried out in three stages until completing 30 tons this year: five tons were transported in December 2023, then 12.5 tons will be sent in February 2024 and the balance of 12.5 tons in April. To carry out this process, Sierra y Selva Exportadora provided technical support in the processing of the Certificate of Origin of the product.
