Producers of poultry meat and chicken eggs in Azerbaijan ask the government to protect the local market

According to Interfax-Azerbaijan, the APEPEA information notes that today local producers provide the local market with table eggs by 130-140%, about 100% is the level of supply with chicken meat and 100% inseminated eggs. APEPEA states that, despite this, some companies import table eggs to Azerbaijan, which do not indicate production dates, as well as deliveries of one-day-old chicks. At the same time, local producers are experiencing difficulties in exporting products, as importing countries are taking measures to protect the interests of domestic producers.
