Tunisia's stone fruit production is projected to increase by 3.5% in 2022, reaching 295,000 tonnes, as a result of favorable climate conditions. The production of peaches and nectarines is expected to rise to 156,000 tonnes, and apricot production to 37,400 tonnes. Plum production is also anticipated to increase by 8.7% to 20,100 tonnes. Almond production is expected to reach 69,500 tons, marking a 5.8% increase. The Interprofessional Fruit Grouping (GIFruits) and the Export Promotion Center (CEPEX) of Tunisia are planning to participate in the Tripoli International Fair to enhance the visibility of Tunisian fruits, particularly in the Libyan market.
