Until October 7, Minister Takhov must announce his decision on whether to proceed with the vaccination of sheep and goats against sheep pox, or to continue inaction. If he does not do so by the specified date, the National Association of Sheep and Goat Farmers will organize a national protest on October 10. We sought out Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Vuchkov from the Department of Animal Sciences at the Agricultural University in Plovdiv to understand his opinion on this issue, which is contentious among sheep farmers and troubling for the authorities. - Assoc.
