South Korea: Promote raising KRW 7 billion in self-help funds to stabilize supply and demand of winter vegetables

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced on the 18th that it will create a Jeju-style self-support fund worth 7 billion won for winter vegetable self-support groups this year to stabilize the supply and demand of winter vegetable crops led by producers. The Jeju-type self-support fund is a fund raised by producer associations for each agricultural product to be used to promote common interests and stabilize supply and demand. Jeju Island plans to provide the same amount through one-to-one matching as the amount raised by producer organizations such as self-support member farmers and agricultural cooperatives.
