Over 95% of contracts in Bulgaria are one-year agreements, leading to one-year commensal use. This means that agricultural producers cannot calmly invest in irrigation and in modern, soil-protective technologies, which yield results only after years. This was emphasized by the Chairman of the NAU Iliya Prodanov during the organization's annual seminar in Albena.
