The joint-stock company for grain trading and storage "Farm Sense" has requested on November 20, 2025, that the Sofia City Court declare it insolvent. The Dobrudja-based company has a 32-year history and owns grain storage facilities and silos located in Northeastern Bulgaria, a vehicle fleet, and logistics, trading not only with grain and oilseed crops domestically and abroad, but also with biomass. The two consecutive crisis years for farmers are evidently affecting campaigns of this kind, as the company has fallen into an inability to cover its obligations starting this year. As the reason for the requested bankruptcy procedure, majority owner Plamen Borisov cites first and foremost the unfavorable dynamic development of the grain market for the 2025 harvest.
