(Agraria.pe) The Crop Protection Guild (PROTEC) of the Chamber of Commerce of Lima (CCL) highlighted the importance of strengthening integrated pest management, technological innovation, and regulatory compliance to guarantee the sustainability and competitiveness of Peruvian agriculture, facing a scenario marked by climate change and higher demands from international markets. This was stated by engineer Davis Morera Castañeda, president of PROTEC, in an interview granted to MundoAgro, where he analyzed the main challenges facing the agricultural sector in terms of plant health and food safety.
