Bulgaria: Protecting native yogurt and cheese will stop unfair competition

The granting of protected designations of origin to "Bulgarian yogurt" and "Bulgarian white brine cheese" by the EC will protect not only the raw materials and the method of production of these products, but also the entire chain up to the animal feed. The obligation for these goods to be produced from 100% Bulgarian raw materials and the increasing demand around the world should stimulate business and all related sectors of the economy. This was commented by Simeon Prisadashki, deputy chairman of the Association of Milk Processors in Bulgaria, on the air of the program "Business Start" with host Roselina Petkova.
