REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, ROME -- Indonesia has been included in the list of recipients of recognition by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for its contributions to South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) in the development of the global food and agriculture sector. The award was presented at the Global Technical Recognition Ceremony at the FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy, on Wednesday (10/15/2025), marking the 80th anniversary of the FAO. Indonesia is one of 18 recipients of the SSTC recognition in two categories: Country-Level Recognition and Institutional-Level Recognition. Out of the 18 recipients, only five country representatives (Saudi Arabia, Brazil, China, Uganda, and Morocco) were called to the podium to receive the awards directly.
