Pumpkin seed harvest has begun in Nevşehir

In 2019, the harvest of pumpkin seeds was carried out in Nevşehir, which holds a geographical indication and ranks first in the production of snack pumpkin seeds across Turkey. The harvest program was carried out in Karacaören Village, which is part of Acıgöl district. Nevşehir Governor Ali Fidan participated in the program, entering the field with the farmers to break the pumpkins and separate the pumpkin seeds.
