The Fruit Trees Project, executed by the Regional Management of Agrarian Development of Puno, continues with the installation of avocado seedlings in the definitive field, covering a total of 380 hectares in the provinces of Sandia and Carabaya. To date, this crop has already been established on 159 hectares. To supervise the progress of field work, the Fruit Trees Project resident, Arnaldo Mamani; supervisor Marino Vásquez; and zonal coordinator Fenry Villasante, visited the lands of Mr. Antonio Paxi, president of the Field School Los Claveles, located in the populated center of Curva Alegre, San Pedro de Putina Punco district. There they closely accompanied each stage of the installation day. It should be noted that the seedlings were previously produced in the project's nurseries.
