The Ministry of Agriculture in Kazakhstan is planning to implement export quotas for live cattle, sheep, and goats for the next six months, both within the country and to the Eurasian Economic Union. The quotas are set at 60,000 heads for cattle and 120,000 heads for sheep and goats. Each feedlot and commodity producer will have a specific limit for the number of heads they can export. The draft order will be open for public discussion until April 4.
