The first-crop corn fields are showing good development at the beginning of October. According to the National Supply Company (Conab), producers have already sown 31.2% of the planned areas. Meteorologist Arthur Müller from Rural Channel highlights that the weather has been favoring the advancement of the crop, especially in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. While the people of Rio Grande do Sul have already planted 83% of the area with the cereal, Santa Catarina has 72% of the crops planted.
