Rapeseed oil and sugar provide more than half of the exchange exports of Belarusian agricultural products

More than 50 percent of the total volume of exports of agro-industrial complex products through the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange in January - October 2023 fell on rapeseed oil and sugar. Oksana Bogdasarova, head of the BUTB agricultural products trading department, spoke about this during a practical seminar held at the specialized wholesale exhibition-fair “Prodexpo-2023”, and shared information with sb.by from the BUTB press service. According to a representative of the exchange, the geography of sales of agricultural products is constantly expanding. In particular, the main buyers of rapeseed oil at exchange trading now are companies from China, Lithuania, Poland, Switzerland and Estonia. And sugar is mainly sold to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Uzbekistan. – In general, we can say that the structure of buyers of Belarusian agricultural products is quite diversified.
