In the first half of 2025, rapeseed oil exports from Russia increased by 40% in physical terms, exceeding 780,000 tons. This was reported by Ilya Ilyushin, head of the Federal Center "Agroexport", at a press conference at TASS.
"Over six months of the current year, foreign rapeseed oil supplies amounted to more than 780,000 tons worth approximately $760 million," Ilyushin noted. "In monetary terms, export growth reached 56% compared to the same period in 2024."
China, Iran, and Norway became the main importers of Russian products, entering the top 3 countries in terms of purchase volume in monetary terms.
