Record dry bean harvest in Bitlis: 37 thousand tons production

Dry beans grown in the fertile lands of Bitlis have brought joy to both farmers and the regional economy. Production, especially concentrated in the district of Ahlat, meets 13.6% of Turkey's need for food-grade dry beans and 40% for seed beans. Dry bean harvesting in the district of Ahlat, one of the important production centers of Eastern Anatolia, began approximately 10 days ago.
