Record soybean harvest in Mato Grosso surpasses 50 million tons

The 2024/25 soybean crop in Mato Grosso was consolidated with historic numbers, according to a bulletin released by the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea). With 12.80 million hectares cultivated — an increase of 3.47% compared to the previous cycle —, the State reached a production of 50.89 million tons, a significant growth of 31.50% compared to 2023/24. Productivity drives performance The leap in productivity was the main factor for the record performance. The state average reached 66.29 bags per hectare, an increase of 27.09%, favored by positive climatic conditions during the cycle. The result consolidates Mato Grosso as the absolute leader in national soybean production.
