Indonesia: Red edible oil Launches, government empowers cooperatives & MSMEs

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- Executive Director of GIMNI, Sahat Sinaga expressed optimism regarding the production and marketing of Red Edible Oil which is believed to be cheaper and healthier. GIMNI also supports the efforts of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs to encourage the role of farmer cooperatives and MSMEs in the production of red edible oil (MMM). Meanwhile, the Deputy for Cooperatives at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Ahmad Zabadi, confirmed that MMM specifically is only developed by cooperatives and marketed through farmers.
