The Agricultural Crops Export Council and the German Agency for International Cooperation GIZ have launched a training program for crop producers in Assiut Governorate, Egypt. The program, focused on the fennel crop, aims to increase productivity and reduce losses through improved cultivation methods, optimal use of pesticides, and post-harvest treatments. The initiative is designed to raise awareness among producers of medicinal and aromatic plants about good agricultural practices and product safety, thereby facilitating access to foreign markets.
