This represents an increase of +54.9% compared to the 7,969,559 boxes in 2024 and an increase of +111.5% compared to the 5,835,713 boxes in 2023, according to a report from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). By varieties, white grapes accounted for the largest share with 4,605,030 boxes, almost double the 2,505,363 boxes stored in 2024. Red grapes follow, with 2,003,070 boxes, also above the 889,286 boxes from last year. Black grapes have increased strongly to 551,872 boxes from 107,383 boxes in 2024. Scarlet Royal was the most prominent named variety in the warehouses, with 1,672,640 boxes, below the 1,933,388 boxes from last year but above the 693,761 boxes in 2023.
