The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (SAGyP) enabled this Wednesday the registration so that the slaughterhouses and groups of interested producers can access the export quota of beef with destination to the United States. This involves 20,000 tons with preferential tariff, planned for the 2026 commercial cycle, which will be managed through the remote procedures platform. The registration will remain open for ten consecutive days and will be governed by the requirements established in Resolution 249/2025, published in the Official Bulletin. The ministry based the decision on the need to anticipate the operation and avoid delays in the transition between commercial cycles. To this end, it established the possibility of enabling quota advances while the final volumes for the new period are being awarded.
