South Korea: Dilemma of Kiwi FTA fund support

Regarding whether to support Zespri kiwi contract farmers, there is an awkward position between the argument that it goes against the trend of expanding domestically cultivated varieties and the argument that Zespri farmers are also Jeju farmers. In fact, it is persuasive to argue that support for Zespri farmers will shake up the foundation for cultivating domestically grown varieties, and it is also persuasive to argue that it is unfair to exclude state support for Jeju farmers, regardless of what variety they grow.
