Reports on major animal diseases in China in November 2024

In November 2024, a total of 22 major animal diseases of Category I, II and III were reported nationwide, with 106,667 animals infected and 160,100 dead animals. Among them, there was one major animal disease of Category I, with 10 animals infected and 1 dead animal. There were 14 major animal diseases of Category II, with 26,271 animals infected and 4,916 dead animals. The top three diseases were reported in terms of the number of reported cases. The first three types of animal diseases are porcine epidemic diarrhea, brucellosis, and caprine contagious pleuropneumonia, accounting for 92.78% of the total number of reported cases of the second major animal diseases.
