In October 2024, a total of 23 major animal diseases were reported nationwide, with 100,152 sick animals and 11,318 dead animals. The top three diseases were porcine epidemic diarrhea, brucellosis, and duck plague, accounting for 86.79% of the total reported cases. The other three major diseases reported were chicken coccidiosis, swine influenza, and pasteurellosis, accounting for 97.57% of the total reported cases of the three major diseases.
