The National University Toribio Rodríguez de Mendoza of Amazonas (UNTRM), through the Institute of Research, Innovation and Development for the Agrarian and Agroindustrial Sector (IIDAA), published a research on the potential of starches from tubers and grains as a key raw material for the production of biopolymers, with innovative applications in biodegradable and sustainable packaging. The research was disseminated in the scientific journal Discover Food (Q1, FI: 3.7) under the title “Unveiling the potential of starch from tubers and grains as primary source of biopolymers”.
