Over the week, the cost of tomatoes, carrots, buckwheat groats, vermicelli, margarine, and pork meat decreased in the region. According to data from Nizhny Novgorodstat, as of December 15, in the Nizhny Novgorod region, among fruit and vegetable products, tomatoes became 4.7% cheaper over the week (to 176.06 RUB/kg), carrots 1.1% cheaper (to 27.08 RUB/kg), beets 0.5% cheaper (to 30.9 RUB/kg), and apples 0.1% cheaper (to 125.96 RUB/kg). The average cost of potatoes was recorded at 30.23 RUB/kg (+1.5%), white cabbage at 26.63 RUB/kg (+0.5%), onions at 36.08 RUB/kg (no change), bananas at 142.34 RUB/kg (no change).
