Deputy Chairman of the Karacabey Chamber of Agriculture Ramazan Düzen said that agricultural production problems have occurred in many parts of the country due to drought. Düzen stated that the problem stems from the lack of rainfall and the inability to irrigate, and conveyed that the condition of the dams, which play an important role in agricultural irrigation in some areas, is not good. Düzen pointed out that a similar problem is being experienced at Manyas Lake and the Manyas Dam that feeds the lake, stating, "That is why some restrictions have been imposed in the Karacabey Plain.
