The rice market in Vietnam saw little activity and flat prices for both rice and paddy on December 21, 2024. Prices decreased in some areas due to a lack of demand and slow warehouse purchases. However, in some locations, prices remained stable. In the export market, the price per ton for different types of rice also decreased. Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Hoang Hiep met with Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Andrew Goledzinowski to express gratitude for his contributions to promoting agricultural cooperation between Vietnam and Australia. The Australian Government's support for Vietnam's agricultural sector and its relief efforts following Storm No. 3 (Yagi) were specifically mentioned.
