REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The National Food Agency (Bapanas) reports that medium and premium rice prices have started to decline at the national level. Hermawan, the Director of Food Safety and Quality Standards Enforcement at Bapanas, conveyed this price correction trend as the result of weekly monitoring showing positive movements in several regions. Bapanas assesses this decline as a signal of improvement towards the end of November, especially for rice commodities that play a significant role in inflation. This price improvement is followed by strengthened stabilization focused on eastern Indonesia, where prices are still higher compared to other zones.
