Roadmap presented to the pork sector for a Paraguay free of foot-and-mouth disease without vaccination

Yesterday, Wednesday, authorities from the veterinary agency visited the headquarters of the Paraguayan Chamber of Pork Industries and Derivatives (Capainpod) to present the national plan, and also mentioned that two other guilds in the sector are still pending and are scheduled. In communication with La Nación/Nación Media, the president of Senacsa, José Carlos Martin, mentioned that the dissemination is on the right track, and there are requests from Concepción, Boquerón, and Itapúa, departments where they will go to present the plan. Furthermore, Senacsa has been conducting a series of technical meetings with the objective of strengthening national capabilities for the compliance with the guidelines established by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE).
