Roskachestvo recognized most curd cheeses in Russia as safe

Roskoshestvo has recognized many brands of curd cheeses on the Russian market as safe for consumers, according to the organization’s latest study. She tested products for the content of antibiotics, mycotoxins, pesticides and other harmful elements. The organization researched 20 popular brands of curd cheese. Products were tested for 148 quality and safety indicators. Among the studied brands, nine were manufactured according to GOST, and the same number were manufactured according to technical specifications or organizational standards. For goods of two more brands, the document is not indicated, since they are manufactured abroad. 17 of them are made in Russia, two - in Belarus and one - in Iran. The cost of all products ranged from 38 to 110 rubles per 100 grams. Sour cream producers corrected errors after research by Roskachestvo Five trademarks can apply for the Russian Quality Mark.
